The Contest
Qualifications to Apply:

Must be an unmarried woman of Irish birth or descent from the Pittsburgh area.

Age requirement: between 17 and 22 years old.

Should exemplify outstanding representation of the Irish in Pittsburgh through excellent moral character, ethical ideals, and poise.

The winner will actively promote pride in her Irish heritage and ancestry and will be involved in local civic and charitable organizations.

If selected, the winner must be prepared for short interviews with local television, radio, and newspaper outlets upon request and must be available for various festivities from March 7th through Parade Day on Saturday, March 14th.
